We are celebrating 100 days of school. It is amazing how quickly time passes, how much the children have grown and how much they have learned. They all brought 100 things for show and tell and practiced counting by one

The angels in heaven are rejoicing as all of my children gave their hearts to Jesus today. This week we've been studying about the circulatory system. The children have a good understanding about what the heart and lungs do. But then in worship we sing I have the Joy, Joy Down in My Heart and Open the Eyes of My Heart Lord. Is that the same heart that pumps the blood? The book "A Heart for Jesus" by Juanita Bynum explains has a great explanation about what it means to give your heart to someone you can't see while the one in your chest is still beating. All of the children prayed a prayer to give their hearts to Jesus and wrote about it in their journals. What a special class of sweet children!
It's hard to believe that our class has been together nearly 100 days already. They are such a sweet group of children. We do a group hug at the end of the day and say a big "I love you". Then as we go out the door the children are shouting "I love you" to their friends as they run to the waiting cars. One girl said that she loves kindergarten and is going to stay here for the rest of her life. I
